About Larissa Applegate MD
Dr. Larissa Applegate grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. She received her degree in Sociology from NYU in 2001 and completed her medical school education at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2009. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in May 2009. Dr. Applegate completed her pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital of Colorado in 2012. She moved to Colorado in 2002 after visiting the area to snowboard. On this same trip she met her husband Matt. They have two children, Sam and Jack. Dr. Applegate enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, yoga, and getting off the grid. Dr Applegate is currently pursuing her masters in acupuncture at ITEA in Louisville, CO with an expected completion in 2026. She is excited to bring eastern medicine into her practice at Pediatrics West.

I love to craft - sewing, cooking, baking, painting, paper crafting, and felt crafting. Anything that gets me closer to feeling like Martha Stewart. I also rode my bicycle from Seattle to Boston summer of 2002.

A stuffed animal my mom made me, a dog named “ Bingo.”
