About Anneka Quinn FNP-C

Anneka grew up in Boston but has been happy to call a variety of places home, including San Diego, Montreal, and Barcelona. A science geek at heart, she initially wanted to be a biomedical researcher and studied Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University. After volunteering for a summer at a health clinic in rural Uganda, however, Anneka knew that spending life at a lab bench was not for her. She received her ABSN from Duke University and began working as a new graduate in Duke University Hospital’s Emergency Department. Though emergency medicine offered a lot in terms of experience, it also highlighted the need for quality primary care. Hoping to help fill that need, she returned to Duke, where she received her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and completed her DNP, focusing on adolescent health. Anneka moved to Colorado in December 2014 with her partner Brendan and their border collie Kal. The three of them can often be found outside enjoying all of the adventure Colorado has to offer.
