About Allison Hagen

Allison grew up in a military family, where she embraced the adventure of living in several states and overseas before graduating from high school in Washington. She earned her undergraduate degree in sociology at Washington State University before moving to Colorado, where she earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Allison is passionate about supporting youth and has trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities to support the unique needs of children and adolescents. She began her social work career at a shelter for adolescents before spending almost ten years providing in-home therapy to youth and their families. As a clinician with Jefferson Center for Mental Health, Allison is honored to be with Pediatrics West, as she values the connection between physical and mental wellbeing. When Allison is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, reading mysteries, and watching a good comedy.
