Brittany Schaffer PA-C

Pediatric Physician Assistant

Brittany is a Colorado native and became a Physician Assistant through the Child Health Associate Program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2013. She worked in Primary Pediatrics in Glenwood Springs for 2 years before moving back to the Denver area to be closer to family. She is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.  Areas of special interest are newborns, child development, and adolescent medicine. She enjoys running, biking, swimming, training for triathlons, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with family and her 2 dogs.

Sarah Torgerson PNP-C

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Sarah is a Kentucky native and has spent the majority of her life in the Eastern half of the United States. She attended nursing school at Sanford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Her nursing career included hospital work, community health, and urgent care. The most life-changing experience of her career was a 9 month commitment to work at a mission hospital in the Republic of Congo where she discovered her LOVE for pediatrics. She came home committed to spending the rest of her career working with kids. For nurse practitioner school, Sarah moved to Denver to attended the University of Colorado’s Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She loves emergency medicine, primary care, working abroad, and thinks 5 year olds are perfect. Aside from medicine, Sarah enjoys running, being outside, sunshine, hot weather, drinking coffee, spending time with family (she is the third of four kids), and trying to improve at snowboarding even though it is terrifying. She is honored to join the team at Pediatrics West!

Stephanie LeBlanc PA-C

Pediatric Physician Assistant

Stephanie was born and raised in Boulder Colorado and received her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University. After graduation she had the opportunity to work in a pediatric office as a patient educator and fell in love with pediatric medicine and the role that providers play in the lives of children and families. She received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in Portland Maine and came back to Colorado to join the Pediatrics West family shortly thereafter. She and her husband, Dane – who works as a high school physics teacher – are happy to be back in their home state where the sun shines in the winter and they can play sand volleyball year round. Stephanie loves drinking coffee, eating breakfast food for dinner, building Ikea furniture and hiking everyday with her dog named Lucy.

Anneka Landgraf FNP-C

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Anneka grew up in Boston but has been happy to call a variety of places home including San Diego, Montreal, and Barcelona. A science geek at heart, she initially wanted to be a biomedical researcher and studied Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University. After volunteering for a summer at a health clinic in rural Uganda, however, Anneka knew that spending life at a lab bench was not for her. She received her ABSN from Duke University and began working as a new graduate in Duke University Hospital’s Emergency Department. Though emergency medicine offered a lot in terms of experience, it also highlighted the need for quality primary care. Hoping to help fill that need, she returned to Duke where she received her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and completed her DNP, focusing on adolescent health.  Anneka moved to Colorado in December 2014 with her boyfriend Brendan and their border collie Kal. The three of them can often be found outside enjoying all of the adventure Colorado has to offer.
