Lynn Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor for JCMH. She has over 11 years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy. Lynn is located at both Pediatrics West and Focus On Kids and has experience providing therapy and case management services in a variety of settings. Lynn was on the opening team for New Vistas, the first hospital diversion program in the Denver-metro area, later provided inpatient therapy services in private psychiatric hospitals, and has worked as a crisis response clinician. She is trained in TFCBT and authors trauma assessments for Jefferson County Department of Human Services. Lynn specializes in empowering kids and families to achieve their goals through trauma-informed, evidence based therapeutic interventions. She knows better than to consider herself a native, and growing up in Louisiana gave her an appreciation for all things southern. That being said, Lynn loves everything about Colorado (skiing, hiking, road biking, wildflowers, snow, outdoor concerts, etc.) and has no plans to leave. Lynn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Denver Seminary.
